Rescue
Midsummer Rhodesian Ridgebacks encourages potential homes to first check with rescues for available dogs. A rescued dog is neither damaged nor bad. They are likely the product of unfortunate circumstances, or simply require patience and training. Rescues are capable of love and devotion, and may be a better choice instead of a puppy. Midsummer also appreciates the quality of a ridgeless Ridgeback and does not practice culling. Ridgelessness is a cosmetic quality and has no bearing on a Ridgeback’s behavior. If you are interested in the breed for their wonderful personality and athleticism, please consider a ridgeless Rhodesian…you certainly won’t regret it!
